After receiving your admission result, confirm your intention to enroll at Asia University.
Welcome to Asia University. This guide follows the actual enrollment process for international new students and summarizes the major steps after admission, the New Student Registration System, on-site registration, campus systems, arrival and housing, residence and health, fees and scholarships, course registration, and campus life.
Complete Steps 01 through 06 in order. Some internal university systems require Asia University VPN access when used off campus.
Please read the International New Student Handbook before enrollment for important information about registration, campus life, and other new student procedures.
After receiving your admission result, confirm your intention to enroll at Asia University.
If you need a printed admission letter for your visa, entry procedure, or another purpose, submit the required mailing information.
Your student ID number is required for new student registration, ANID, the Campus Portal, student email, course registration, and other university services.
After obtaining your student ID number, complete your student record, student ID photo, highest academic qualification, language proficiency documentation, and health information.
If you need to pay tuition from overseas in foreign currency, download the Asia University Yuanta Bank remittance instructions and follow the banking and remittance information in the document.
Students who require on-campus housing should use the Asia University housing application system. If accessing the system off campus, connect to the university VPN first.
Complete Step 01 “Confirm Enrollment Intention” and Step 02 “Printed Admission Letter Mailing Information” first. It normally takes approximately ten days for the university to establish your student record and student ID number. If it is still unavailable after approximately ten days, contact the Asia University Office of International Affairs.
After completing online registration, travel to Asia University according to your arrival schedule. Once you arrive, report to the Office of International Affairs, Room L105 on the first floor of the Administration Building . See the “Registration” tab for more information.
Upload an acceptable student ID photo through the New Student Registration System first. Missing, unclear, or rejected photos may delay production and distribution of your student ID card.
Upload your highest academic qualification documents in PDF format. Make sure all text, stamps, authentication information, and all pages are clear enough for verification.
If you are a native speaker of the language of instruction, upload your identity document in the language proficiency document field.
After obtaining your student ID number, log in to the Asia University New Student Registration System. International new students should mainly prepare the following five categories of information and documents. Prepare the required electronic files before you begin.
You may enter the system after receiving your student ID number. If the system cannot be accessed from outside the campus network, connect to the Asia University VPN first.
Enter or confirm your name, date of birth, contact information, address, and other student record information.
Upload a clear two-inch ID photo that meets the university requirements. This photo will be used to produce your student ID card.
Upload the required English or Chinese language proficiency document according to the language of instruction of your admitted program.
Upload your highest diploma or graduation certificate. International students should make sure the document has completed the required authentication process.
New student health information includes P1 and P2. Complete the required information and upload the official health examination report.
Applicable to: Exchange students and Chinese Language Center students.
Download the “Health Certificate for Short-Term Students” and bring the form to a medical institution to complete the required health examination.
Applicable to: Bachelor's, Master's, Doctoral, and other degree-seeking students.
Degree students should download the “Health Examination Form for Residence or Settlement” issued by the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control and complete the required health examination.
Complete Step 01 and Step 02 under the “Newly Admitted” tab first. It normally takes approximately ten days for the university to establish your student record and student ID number.
If your student ID number is still unavailable after approximately ten days, contact the Office of International Affairs.
If you are outside the campus network, connect to the Asia University VPN before opening the New Student Registration System.

Some Asia University systems, forms, and announcements may use the Republic of China (ROC) calendar. International students can use the following rules:
Use a clear, front-facing photo that meets the ID photo requirements. Do not use selfies, casual photos, blurry images, or heavily edited photos.
Student ID photo review stages include August 14, 2026 and August 28, 2026. After each review stage is completed, the reviewed photo can no longer be changed.
Use PDF format and make sure all text, authentication information, stamps, and pages are clearly visible.
A color scan of the original document is recommended. Avoid tilted, reflective, blurry, or incomplete images.
If the official health examination report is not yet available, you may temporarily upload the health examination receipt according to the current Health Center procedure.
Once the official report is available, return to the system and complete the P2 examination values and upload the official health examination report in PDF format.
If you completed your health examination in your home country, open the health report upload system and select “Other Hospital” in the “Hospital Where the Health Examination Was Completed” field.
Then enter the required health examination information and upload the official health examination report issued by the hospital where the examination was completed.

After arriving at Asia University, bring all required documents to the Office of International Affairs for on-site registration.
International new students who need to complete on-site check-in at the Office of International Affairs should make an appointment online in advance and select an available date and time.

Departmental New Student Orientation: August 31 through September 4, 2026. Contact your department for the exact time and location.
OIA International New Student Orientation: It will be held in September 2026. The detailed date, time, and location will be sent by email.
The first day of Fall 2026 classes is September 7, 2026. Check your timetable and classroom locations before classes begin.
After receiving your student ID and completing registration, become familiar with ANID, the Campus Portal, student email, Wi-Fi, VPN, and TronClass.
ANID is the primary Asia University network account. For students, the ANID username is the student ID number. It is used to access various university information services.
The Campus Portal is the main student service platform for leave requests, course registration, transcripts, and other important services.
Student Microsoft 365 email format: StudentID@live.asia.edu.tw. Check your university email regularly for academic, housing, and administrative notices.
Wireless setup varies by device and network service. Please check the latest instructions provided by the Asia University Office of Information and Communication Technology.
First confirm that you have completed new student registration and on-site registration and that your ANID account is active. Then follow the VPN instructions.
If you cannot connect to the VPN, try the following:
TronClass is a digital learning platform used in courses. Instructors may post announcements, course materials, assignments, and other online learning activities.
Prepare your transportation, accommodation, and essential items before arrival. After entering Taiwan, obtain a usable Taiwan contact number when possible.
If airport pickup is available, follow the OIA email or official announcement. Students traveling independently may use HSR, buses, or taxis to reach Asia University.
Students are encouraged to obtain a Taiwan mobile number that supports calls, mobile data, and SMS. Prepare your ARC and passport. Actual requirements and plans depend on the telecom provider.
Students who require on-campus housing should first submit an application through the Asia University Housing Application System. For room assignments, check-in, room changes, and other dormitory regulations, please follow the announcements issued by Housing Services.
Fall 2026 dormitory assignments are scheduled to be announced at 5:00 p.m. on August 26, 2026.
Beginning in the third week after the semester begins, download the Room/Bed Change Application Form from the Housing Services website and submit the request. Approval depends on available beds and housing conditions.

After arriving in Taiwan, complete ARC, health examination, insurance, and work permit procedures according to your visa and legal status.
International students who require residence in Taiwan for study should apply for an Alien Resident Certificate according to their visa and residence status.
Under the current rules, foreign students should apply for residence within 30 days beginning on the day after entry .
A change of residential address should be registered within 30 days beginning on the day after the change occurs .
Complete your new student health information and upload the official health examination report by October 7, 2026.
Generally, no.
Foreign students with valid residence documents who are not employed generally become eligible after meeting the applicable six-month residence requirement. Students who are employed are subject to the applicable employment-based NHI rules.
Students must obtain a valid work permit before beginning employment .
During the academic semester, international students may work no more than 20 hours per week. Winter and summer vacation periods are subject to the current regulations.
Check your individual admission result, semester payment notice, and scholarship notification for the amount and conditions that apply to you.
Tuition and fee rates may vary by college, department, and degree program. International new students who need to check the current tuition, miscellaneous fees, and related charges should refer to the latest information published by Asia University.
If a student applies for suspension or withdrawal, the amount of tuition and fees that may be refunded depends on the date on which the suspension or withdrawal is officially completed and the university's applicable refund schedule.
Log in to the Student Information System and go to Applications → Print Payment Notice to view the tuition and fees for the semester.
Check your admission letter. Your scholarship result is stated in your admission information.
New students must first pay the full tuition and fees. Approved scholarships will be disbursed at the end of the semester according to university procedures.
Follow the latest Asia University foreign student scholarship regulations.
Prepare at least two forms of identification, commonly including a valid passport and ARC. The bank may also request your student ID, enrollment certificate, Taiwan mobile number, or other documents.
It is recommended that you make an appointment in advance. Actual account-opening requirements depend on the bank's current policy.
Check course registration, your timetable, and classroom locations before classes begin. Also become familiar with student clubs, library services, healthcare, and campus safety resources.
Some university-required and department-required first-year courses may already be pre-assigned. Students should still check their complete timetable during course registration and add any required electives.

Use the campus map below to locate academic buildings, classrooms, and major facilities at Asia University. New students are encouraged to check their classroom locations before classes begin.
Students may attend the Student Club Fair at the beginning of the semester to explore student organizations and activities.
Hours may differ during vacations, public holidays, or special periods. Check the library website for the latest schedule.
Asia University Hospital is approximately a five-minute drive from campus. Present your valid student ID at the cashier/payment counter for any applicable student benefit under the hospital's current policy.
