Dear International Students,

To enhance cultural exchange and build profound friendships between international students and host families, the Ministry of Education (MOE) is organizing an outdoor picnic and cultural experience event. We will take you to Meinong, Kaohsiung, to enjoy a variety of traditional Hakka activities, including earth kiln roasting, stone-ground flat noodles, DIY Lei Cha (pounded tea), and Hakka mochi pounding. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience local Taiwanese culture and make new friends in a relaxing atmosphere.

• Location: Meinong Hakka Village Teaching Farm (No. 6-1, Sec. 2, Zhongxing Rd., Meinong Dist., Kaohsiung City)

• Time: June 6, 2026, 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM

• Participants: 80 international students and 15 host families

• Registration Period: From now until May 19 (or until capacity is reached)
