Asia University Hosts Campus Career Fair to Help Local and International Students Connect with the Job Market

To facilitate student employment, Asia University grandly held the "Asia University 2026 International Students Career Fair" on May 6th at the wooded path in front of the Administration Building. Jointly organized by the Office of International Affairs and the Career Development and Placement Center of the Office of Student Affairs, the event attracted a large number of local and international students, injecting professional vitality into the campus.

To provide students with diverse career choices, the fair invited high-quality enterprises from various industries. In addition to major semiconductor manufacturer Siliconware Precision Industries Co., Ltd. (SPIL) and other key technology companies offering engineering and technical positions, the participating industries also covered healthcare, hospitality, consulting, and social welfare. According to the exhibitor list, well-known organizations such as InterContinental Taichung, Safari Lodge Co., Ltd., Heying Management Consulting Co., Ltd., and the Chen Chou Grandma Social Welfare Foundation were present to recruit talent.

The atmosphere at the event was enthusiastic, with students crowding corporate booths to make inquiries. Observations showed that booths for the hospitality and leisure industry, such as InterContinental Taichung (Booth 73) and Safari Lodge (Booth 77), attracted many students interested in learning about corporate culture and job descriptions. Corporate representatives enthusiastically explained interview techniques and career prospects to both local and international students, providing a valuable opportunity for direct dialogue with the industry.

The organizers stated that the core purpose of the fair is to establish a transparent and direct matchmaking platform for all students, providing more employment opportunities. Through the collaboration between the Office of International Affairs and the Career Development and Placement Center, Asia University aims to help graduating students grasp industry trends, find a stage to utilize their talents in Taiwan, and achieve the goal of "employment upon graduation." The event concluded with the organizing team and students taking a group photo in front of the main visual banner supervised by the Ministry of Education.
