During the two-week course, with 3 hours of class daily, the content included lectures on course topics, sharing of practical experiences by KOLs, class discussions, and group reports. The final project theme was to create a course promotion plan, and the winning team would be able to actually execute the plan and receive funding assistance from HKU.
I gained a lot from this study. Besides deeply understanding KOL marketing strategies, I also improved my English communication skills significantly through class discussions. In interactions with team members, I experienced learning methods from different national contexts and deeply felt the importance of teamwork in learning and work.
I am very happy to have had this opportunity to experience courses abroad. Although I couldn't go abroad due to the pandemic, experiencing the competition and learning of a different environment through online courses was truly a rare opportunity.
I was a bit nervous when I signed up, fearing my English ability wouldn't be enough for the class content. Later, learning that I was the only Taiwanese student in the class made me worry even more about adapting, but fortunately, the teachers and classmates were very nice.
I chose a course relatively unrelated to my major. I wanted to use this course to touch upon different fields to broaden my horizons and learn new things in a language that isn't my mother tongue. The group report assigned by the teacher also allowed me to demonstrate what I learned over these two weeks and train my English oral presentation skills.
